Written by and starring Olivier Award winner David Haig, Pressure tells the story of the decisions behind the D-Day landings of 1944.
Opening on the anniversary of D-Day, 6th June, Pressure runs for a strictly limited season at London’s Ambassadors Theatre. Star of TV and theatre, David Haig, plays Scottish meteorologist, Group Captain James Stagg in this tense and moving production, based on a true story.
D-Day, June 1944. The Allied forces led by General Eisenhower are poised to launch. 350,000 lives at stake and the decision of whether or not to attack comes down to the most important weather forecast of all time.
History of Pressure
A critical smash hit from Chichester Festival Theatre and Royal Lyceum Theatre Edinburgh, Pressure is directed by John Dove and stars David Haig with Malcolm Sinclair as General Eisenhower and Laura Rogers as Kay Summersby.
