Famous as the role that launched Barbra Streisand to fame, the show hasn’t been seen on the West End stage since its premiere in 1966. The much acclaimed show has also been transformed into a hot movie, for which Barbra Streisand won an Academy Award for her role as Fanny Brice. The story is loosely based on the real life story of Broadway and film star Fanny Brice and her relationship with Nicky Arnstein.
